Andover United Methodist Church is seeking an energetic and dynamic person to fill the position of Director of Youth Ministry. The desired candidate will have a passion for youth and a strong commitment to the United Methodist Church. The Director of Youth Ministry will work 30 hours/week to plan, implement and lead a well-rounded youth ministry program which includes evening youth groups, annual mission trips, special events and fundraising as needed. This person must be able to work as a member of a team to accomplish the greater mission of the church.

Preferred Education and Experience: a bachelors degree in related field preferred but applicants with a minimum of 60 college hours, including classes in education, Christian ministry and/or child growth and development along with relevant work experience will be considered. Must have the ability to manage administrative and budgetary tasks. A complete job description will be forwarded after initial inquiry.
