Topeka District Committee on Ordained Ministry supervises all matters dealing with candidacy for ordained ministry and license for local pastor.  It recommends persons who qualify for associate and provisional membership, for license or continuance as local pastors, and for restoration of credentials.  The Committee assists the conference board of Ordained Ministry in providing support services for all clergy under appointment within the district.

District Board of Church Location and Building reviews all proposed local church building and parsonage sites, determining whether location, size, need, energy efficiency and funding are adequate.

District Committee on Superintendency supports the district superintendent in overseeing the affairs of the Church within the district by advocating for adequate services, being available for counsel, evaluating ministry and communicating conditions and relationships within the district.

District Committee on Lay Speaking Ministries provides basic training for local church lay speakers and advanced courses for certified lay speakers, determines who will be recognized as certified lay speakers and provides support and training for lay speakers to maintain that recognition.

Disaster Response Coordinator works closely with conference and jurisdictional officers to identify, develop and support opportunities for mission volunteer service.

District United Methodist Men work with local units to encourage and support spiritual growth and faith development and encourage and promote the chartering and annual recertification of local units.
