Conference Youth Events

Every year, the East Conference offers several main events for youth to participate in. Click on the links below to learn more.

Spiritual Life Retreat (High School): January 2011  Every year, CCYM organizes a spiritual life retreat for Senior High youth at Camp Chippewa where participants can take time to study God's word, hear his voice and grow in their faith while developing closer relationships with other Christian friends. Watch for a brochure and registration form here.

Mid-High Spiritual Spendover / Confirmation Retreat (6th, 7th, 8th Grades):  March 5-6, 2010 at Camp Chippewa.  This annual event is an opportunity for mid-high youth from all over the Kansas East Conference to join together for spiritual learning and fun.  Brochure/application can be accessed here.

New York United Nations and Global Board of Ministries Study Tour (High School): March 17-24, 2010
Must be registered by Dec.1st!!! Application and poster are available.

Institute: JUNE 21-16, 2010 AND JULY 19-24, 2010 AT BAKER UNIVERSITY IN BALDWIN, KANSAS.  This week-long experience, which is sponsored by the East Conference, is open to youth completing the 8th-12th grades. It focuses on deepening personal relationships with God and others through spiritual growth.  Details are available on the Institute web page.
