United Methodist Clergy - Personal Pastor Retreat - Book yours today! - Do you ever need a chance to regroup, and renew your own soul, without your daily schedule of interruptions. Week days are available, Tuesday - Thursday as possible days for your personal pastor retreat here at Camp Chippewa. There is no cost for one or two nights, however reservations do need to be made a minimum of two weeks in advance, and when space is available. Scheduling your special or group events: We invite you to schedule with us… use of our facility for your event!
We can reserve overnight accommodation for your group event, provide meal service, and some special activities such as Trail Rides, Archery, Low Ropes and Wagon Rides, providing the weather cooperates with us! Your overnight fee includes use of the Outdoor Chapel, Hiking, Fishing, and use of the Volleyball, Kickball, and Basketball areas.
Our facility is also available for Day Use events such as Outdoor Education, Meetings, Leadership Planning, or just an opportunity to get your staff out of town for the day! Some summer dates are available but limited due to the summer program schedule contact our office for a list of availability.
Our outback camping area at Coldsmith Lodge is open after the summer season for tent camping up until the first weekend of October each year, and reopened mid April. We have four cabins that are heated for the winter use; Asbury Lodge which has 52 beds and the three smaller cabins North/Swan Creek (24), Middle/Black River (18), South/Munsee (28). (see facility page) All appropriately named for the Native American tribes that once lived on the land many seasons ago as part of a reservation located here in Franklin County, Kansas.

Camp Chippewa is A Camp & Retreat Center of The United Methodist Church, Kansas East Conference and for this reason we have two group price lists for user groups utilizing our facility. Please click on one of the price lists below that refers to your group.
