 Volunteer Counselors

Volunteers are the cross and the flame of the Summer Camping Program - strong, and igniting a ministry in our children and youth. The wonderful people who participate each summer as Volunteer Counselors help provide us with leadership, friendship and support to our participating campers. Please come and join us this next summer. The children need your cross and flame to fulfill the Faith and Fun of coming to Camp Chippewa! (There is no charge for overnight accommodations and meals during your time at Camp.)

Volunteer Counselor Orientation Training Day - May 8th from 9:30am to 12:00pm there will be a workshop for all Volunteer counselor staff participating in the summer programs. We will be going over policies, procedures, and scheduling. All information is updated annually and it is helpful in coordinating summer programs. It also provides opportunity to visit the site for any new volunteers, prior to come during the summer. Safe & Sacred Training  will begin at 12:30pm to 3:30pm that same afternoon for those still needing to be certified before the summer schedule begins.
