The Kansas East Conference is committed to providing safe and sacred spaces for children, youth and developmentally disabled adults. The conference offers training and certification to individuals who work with children, youth and/or developmentally disabled adults. This certification is required for adults who sponsor youth at conference and district events and for paid and unpaid persons who work with children, youth and/or developmentally disabled adults in local church churches.
Safe Gatherings is a biblically-based curriculum designed to help participants see how observing appropriate boundaries is a vital part of how they live Christian faith.
