UMTV is an initiative of United Methodist Communications. It is an effort to tell stories about people making a difference and stories that talk about moral and ethical challenges we now face as a culture. The stories are 1:30 segments that inspire and provoke thought. These are story ideas any local television news director or assignment editor would be interested in producing, but often lack resources with which to do so.
UMTV is a way to provide local media to have access to these stories, but through the UMTV website anyone can watch these stories of faith.
