Local churches can enroll in the United Methodist Electronic Funds Transfer Service (UM EFT). UM EFT allows participants to contribute to their local congregation by means of a transfer directly from their checking or savings account to a local church account. Churches may enroll with a minimum of one participant. The program has no initial set-up fee or monthly service fees. A reasonable fee schedule is charged for enrollment authorizations and transactions.
UM EFT provides an easily administered way for your members to pay their pledge electronically. This service can help your local church reduce fluctuations in contributions during the year while making it easier for your members to honor their pledge. UM EFT is administered by VANCO Services.
