Jesus healed, associated with and most importantly, loved the poor. It was who He was and who He commanded us to be as disciples of his teachings, "whatever you do for the least of my people, you do for me."
The Kansas East Conference takes this teaching seriously and works to offer several ministries throughout the conference. Designed to provide to those in need of food, shelter or other supplies are Cross-Lines in Kansas City, el Ministerio de Amistad y Fe in Topeka, Wesley House in Pittsburg, Center of Grace in Olathe, and Ogden Friendship House are the five helping agencies within the East conference.
