
Acting on faith strengthens disciples. Volunteers In Mission turn faith into action, helping people in need. Projects include basic building maintenance and repair, construction, teaching Bible school and working at United Methodist missions in Kansas and around the world. Find opportunities to participate in group VIM trips and to sign-up for the Individual Volunteers In Mission program through the General Board of Global Ministries. Domestic VIM Teams
Churches interested to form domestic VIM work or disaster response teams must contact Julie Pohl at least 30 days before a scheduled departure. The Kansas East Conference requires travel insurance for these teams. Insurance coverage can be arranged by contacting Kay Inman. International VIM Teams
Churches interested to form international VIM work or disaster response teams must contact Julie Pohl at least 90 days before a scheduled departure. The Kansas East Conference requires trip insurance coverage for these teams also. The coverage is extensive to meet today's global travel climate.
