
Who They Are
Cross-Lines aims to alleviate the suffering of people in poverty in a manner that offers hope and allows them to preserve their dignity. Cross-Lines also works to educate the broader community about poverty by offering opportunities to serve.
What They Do
The programs they provide include things like: Family Support which includes emergency assistance, crisis intervention, rent, utility assistance, clothing and other essentials; Youth and Education which encompasses a speaker's bureau on poverty, retreat groups and mentoring program; Hunger Relief which addresses the immediate need to feed the hungry while attacking the long-term impact of malnutrition; and a Food Pantry that provides emergency food to over 3,000 people annually.
