Who They Are
Mason Memorial United Methodist Church is located in the heart of Kansas City, Kan. They are determined to become a vibrant, vital and victorious congregation within the Kansas East Conference and the Kansas City District.
Mason Memorial members are boldly proclaiming a new life in Jesus Christ. They are involved in the New Church Start (Restart) Institute, the Spiritual Leadership Incubator and other congregational redevelopment activities.
What They Offer
The ministry staff aims to meet relevant needs while winning souls for Christ through G.W.E.P: generous Giving, winsome Worship, exciting Evangelism and practical Programs. Mason Memorial is dedicated to studying the word of God and growing in spiritual formation, Christian education, small-group formation and high praise and worship.
A predominately African-American congregation with a growing number of Euro-Americans, Mason Memorial welcomes people of all cultures and ethnicities. Their church goal is to be a community congregation located within a multicultural neighborhood where they are intentional about creating an inclusive and authentic community of faith.
Averaging 125 persons in worship, 30 people in Sunday School and 60 people in weekly Bible Study classes, the church is growing and vibrant.
